The husband of a model has been arrested over allegations he raped a woman during London Fashion Week. Shawn Mount, 30, who ismarried to Chanel model Heidi Mount, 23, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a five-star London hotel. The top New York hairstylist is alleged to have carried out the attack after he and his 24-year-old accuser, who cannot be named for legal reasons, attended a party together.
Mount's wife was on an assignment in Milan when the alleged incident happened. Mount was arrested and interviewed at a central London police station. Pending further inquiries, he was bailed until November 10. Scenes of crime experts and detectives spent days examining the room where the attack is alleged to have happened. It is believed linen and other items were taken away for analysis. Meanwhile, the alleged victim has been interviewed by specialist sex crimes detectives from the Sapphire unit. A Scotland Yard spokesman said: 'We received a complaint of a serious sexual assault at 1.30am on September 20 at a central London hotel.
'The victim was referred to a victim support centre. 'A 30-year-old man was arrested on September 21 on suspicion of rape and bailed to return to a London police station in November.
