The great explorer Jacques Cousteau is an unforgettable figure of my youth. His television program The Underwater Odyssey of Commander Cousteau brought the sea world into my living room every Sunday night. Now his granddaughter plays a part in the jewelry world’s Too Precious to Wear campaign. In an effort to bring attention to endangered coral reefs the group has encouraged designers to create pieces inspired by but not derived from ocean resources. These branch coral designs rendered in gold are a beautiful tribute to sea's treasures.
